I’m not sure where to start… Coral and Jeff, you are an amazing couple and I can’t wait to be your wedding photographer in San Antonio this summer!

We met in Houston Texas for their engagement session this past weekend, and I was a little worried that the weather wasn’t going to cooperate. The last thing you want to see  is rain after you’ve just spent 4 hours in the car driving to a photo shoot. We remained optimistic and met downtown to try a few spots that Rachael and I had scouted out the day before. The clouds seemed to get darker and darker as the day progressed, but I told them not to worry and that if we were unable to get the shots we needed that I would be more than happy to return so we could try it again. I’ve never canceled a shoot/wedding due to inclement weather, and I wasn’t planning on doing it now. That’s one of the reasons why I love using portable studio lights, because you can make great images anywhere you go!  I rented a 24mm T/S lens for a couple of weeks and this was the first time I was able to experiment with it. I’m still on the fence as to weather or not I want to add it to my gear, but it was fun none the less!

Seriously… it’s couples like Coral and Jeff that make me realize how lucky I am to be a wedding photographer! I don’t doubt that we will be friends for years to come. Here are a few of my favorites frames from our session, enjoy!
